The piercing is made of our Extra Firm (20A) silicone. Since it's a hollow ring, it will "give" but the sensation is still very unique. The piercing is poured separately from the rest of the toy, so they are not, in fact "connected" as one solid piece. Instead, the piercing is totally encased in the head. It will loosen over time, and you can rotate it freely for cleaning. It has a flat edge on the underside so that it will pop back into its original position.
